My photos have been published in hundreds of publications including book covers and magazines, and they are used in many commercial products, either in the product or on the cover.  Some commercial products may require a licensing fee, but normally the photographs are available for free with proper accreditation and written permission.

Who is Richard Weisser?  A long time computer geek and troublemaker.  My first personal computer  was a Commodore Vic-20 with a whopping 2K of memory.   No, that's not a typo, the total available RAM was two kilobytes!  It was connected to a cassette tape recorder that loaded data slightly slower than you could type it in yourself.  Modems zoomed along at 300 kbs!   Every day I am amazed at how far we have come in the computer industry since 1979! I now live in Sharpsburg, Georgia and I have been taking photographs for over 33 years.  Sharpsburg is only about a four hour's drive from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so many of his photographs are taken in the Southern Appalachian highlands of Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia. I graduated from North Hills High School class of 1971 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and attended Carnegie-Mellon University.  All photographs are taken with a Nikon 8008s on 35mm film and scanned on an Epson Perfection 1200u Scanner.
